FLEET DETAILS
The Coal River Coaches (CRC) and Love Tasmania Tours (LTT) fleet of late model coaches consists of mainly Mercedes based vehicles.
The fleet is broken down into three size classes: Large, medium-large, and medium. Cost is based on both seat capacity and ancillary capability e.g. wheelchair capable.
Wheelchair capable coaches have a maximum wheelchair capacity of two standard (non-motorised) or one motorised wheelchair(s). They are fitted with an electro-hydraulic hoist; tie down points; restraining straps and seat belts for wheelchair passengers.
For passenger comfort and safety all coaches are air-conditioned and fitted with high back seats and three-point seat belts. Some are fitted with armrests and some with DVD player and screen. Please ask your booking representative what other media facilities are available to each coach.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
✓ All prices are inclusive of a knowledgeable, friendly, and experienced driver with all required endorsements for Tasmania, including Public Passenger Vehicle.
✓ Prices are based on a per vehicle basis.
✓ Coach Standards noted are as per the categories: Luxury, Deluxe and Comfort, (developed by the Tasmanian Bus Association).
✓ Airport transfers include the use of our enclosed luggage trailer if required. ✓ Airport Concierge Services.
✓ Airport transfers to local hotels attract a 25% surcharge on the local short distance rate. ✓ Itinerary design: custom or set.
✓ Travel Club Membership.
✓ Travel Club touring (minimum numbers may apply).
ITINERARY CHANGES
Any changes or additions made to your itinerary may incur additional costs.
Please note this quote may be subject to additional costs without consultation where the following changes made by the client occur after acceptance and confirmation of a booking or during coach transport:
(a) Any addition to the itinerary in departure times, wait times and return times. (b) Change of coach type or size.
(c) Requests of our driver to change routes outside of accepted itinerary including additional pick-up and drop-of locations.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
The quote is valid for 60 days from the date herein.
Bond: Refundable on condition of no excess cleaning or damage caused during transfers. If your hire exceeds your allocated hours, this will be deducted from your bond.
Any fees imposed on LTT or CRC by our suppliers due to cancellations will be passed on in full. Payments terms are:
- a) 20% non-refundable deposit is required to secure bookings over $500 inc GST. b) Bookings under $500 must be paid in full to secure your transport.
- c) Balance payment is required 30 days before date of transport.
- d) Full payment is required if booked within 30 days of date of transport.
All prices are mid-week rates unless indicated* otherwise.
Some travel times attract a late-night surcharge.
CANCELLATION
Love Tasmania Tours and Coal River Coaches require pre-payment for all tour bookings. A non refundable deposit of 20% of the total tour cost is payable at the time of booking. Full payment must be received at least 7 days prior to departure.
Any cancellation must be made in writing and received by LTT or CRC with the timeframes below. Any fees imposed on LTT or CRC by our suppliers (not included in the total tour cost) due to any cancellations will be passed on in full.
Cancellation Fees:
Prior to 30 days before tour departure: 20% deposit.
30 to 7 days before tour departure: 40% deposit.
Within 48 hours prior to departure or No Show: 100% of total tour cost. Cancellation after tour has commenced: 100% of total tour cost.
Pre-paid Ticket & Entry Fees:
Prior to 30 days before tour departure: Full refund.
Tour itineraries and days of operation may be subject to change or withdrawal without notice. Minimum numbers apply.

ALCOHOL
Government regulations prohibit consumption of alcohol on all modes of transport, excepting carriers having licence or special permits to do so.
Your driver will stow your alcohol for you in a secure locker for the duration of your journey. Any alcohol consumed aboard the coach or deliberately concealed from the driver for the purposes of sharing or having a drink with travel companions, will result in the confiscation of the alcohol and in some instances, may cause the driver to refuse the offender transport.
Our priority is the safety of all our traveling passengers, and we appreciate your assistance in complying with our regulations on alcohol.
