To Pay: secure your seat by calling our office and paying a deposit. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable to other tours. There will be a payment plan provided for the remainder of the costs. Deposit amount is $500.
Standard cost for this tour is $2190 PP TWIN / $2490 PP SINGLE but with a 15% Probian discount and the addition of flights or insurance a figure will be calculated to each individual.
Day 1. Tuesday · June 9th
You will arrive into Hobart Airport today and be transferred to your accommodation. Check into your hotel and take some time to enjoy the shops, restaurants and history at Salamanca, which is just a short stroll from your hotel.

Day 2. Tuesday · June 10th
Enjoy Breakfast before setting out on a full day packed with amazing experiences. Travelling through the picturesque midlands, passing favourite fishing spots, and possibly snow as you climb into the centre of Tasmania to view artist Greg Duncan’s stunning creations. The three metre high wooden carved panels tell the history of the harsh Central Highlands history. It is 100 metres long and a true Tasmanian icon. A local pub experience with a roaring log fire before returning to Hobart via small townships and perhaps a visit to local antique shops just to tempt you.

Day 3. Tuesday · June 11th
After breakfast you will be departing on a Hobart Sightseeing Tour of major landmarks, historical attractions and popular neighbourhoods that make up the second oldest Australian capital. See Salamanca Place with its Georgian warehouses, Constitution and Victoria docks along the waterfront, the Royal Botanical Gardens and the charming houses of Battery Point before visiting the world renown private museum – MONA. To complete your day we will explore the historic town of Richmond before returning to your central hotel. The Dark Mofo Winter Feast starts tonight. Head down to the waterfront for some magnificent food and drinks and experience Tassie winter at its best.

Day 4. Tuesday · June 12th
After breakfast we are ready for another road trip – this time to the Huon Valley. With 80% of the island’s apple production coming from this region, it has earned the affectionate nickname of The Apple Isle. A choice of gourmet food and drink, combined with stunning scenery, this is a fantastic day trip with many captivating sites, towns and orchards along the way. We will tour the Wooden Boat Centre at Franklin, where we will see the traditional methods of boat building – which are still being taught – and learn about iconic Tasmanian timbers. Lunch will be at Peppermint Bay – which is renown for its fresh Tasmanian produce, seafood and ever changing menu. The Dark Mofo Winter Feast continues tonight or head to one of the amazing restaurants at Salamanca or in the city.

Day 5. Tuesday · June 13th
Today you are free to explore a choice of experiences! We have many options to entice you ….. Salamanca Market, Cascade Brewery, a Port Arthur tour, a winery tour, iconic Bruny Island – the choice is yours. Please contact us for bookings and pricing for these tours. Cancellations: we can cancel a tour for any reason, we can provide a refund or credit to be used within 18 months.
